Gary B. Youell, Chairman
Gary B. Youell, a shareholder of YHB since its inception in 1989, began developing investment portfolios for his clients in 1978 while employed by CIGNA Individual Financial Services. In addition to his investment background, Gary has extensive experience in financial planning services, which he provides upon request to YHB clients as part of the firm’s comprehensive client profile service.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Education, Gary holds a master’s degree in financial services from the College for Financial Planning. Gary serves on the board of several privately held companies, and has over 30 years of experience as a family business consultant. He and his wife live in Canton, CT, and have five children and eight grandchildren. They have served in many capacities for their church, and enjoy traveling throughout the world.
